The Danville Country Club features a challenging, beautifully maintained, 18-hole, par-72 golf course with Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens. The course was created in two stages throughout the Club's history. The gentle rolling terrain, wide fairways and strategically placed trees and traps provide all skill levels a wonderful experience.

Built in 1924 and designed by Louis Chiapetta, the original front nine surrounds the Clubhouse. The back nine, constructed in the 70s, provides additional length and challenges.

The course is open for play year-round, seven days a week, conditions permitting. The course has been home to key tournaments throughout its history, including the Kentucky State Amateur as well as Senior Professional Golf exhibitions, and local annual tournaments, such as J.E. Butler for men and Tee Cup for ladies.

The golf practice facilities, including a driving range and putting and chipping greens, are open seven days a week until early evening.

Using the latest in techniques and video training, a resident PGA golf professional and assistant are available for advice and golf instructions.

The Club has an outstanding Junior program. With the aid of our PGA Professionals, the club provides education, training and clinics to assist in improving golf skills for our future players.

The Club offers a full-service Pro-Shop with complete lines of quality equipment, clothing and accessories, custom club fitting and repair, club cleaning and storage services.

Elegant, well-equipped locker rooms with showers complement the Danville Country Club's commitment to high-quality member services.

The Club has active men's, ladies' and couple's golf associations and activities that provide exceptional tournaments and organized weekly play throughout the spring, summer and fall.
